First Birthday Party

Cooper was invited to his first birthday party for cosmic bowling this week. He started of shy and didn't want to try it, so I pushed him out there and made him do it a few times. He quickly became a fan and didn't want to take a break to eat. He skipped cake so you know he was having fun. It was funny watching a bunch of 3 year olds carrying 10 lbs balls. No one was injured. It was mass chaos but lots of fun to see him interact with his friends. 

Minnesota Sea Life

If you can believe it Jason and I took Cooper to the Mall of America on a weekend. We avoid this at all cost. It was another cold and rainy weekend and we all had cabin fever. We have never been before it was fun to see. Cooper asked to see the sharks the whole way but when we finally got to see them he wanted to get through it as quick as possible. 

Spring is finally here

We are finally getting to enjoy spring weather. Cooper's request was to "go to the biggest park ever".

What you don't see is Jason push made Cooper fly off the slide. I needed a video of this one.

He is going to appreciate this pic later in life.

Of coarse Cooper is still obsessed with hockey. He is insistent on wearing his helmet to play on the street.

Lions Tap

We took Cooper for his first Lions Tap burger this weekend. He was a big fan.

This year Cooper picked Alien Easter eggs. He was so proud of his work, but refused to show me when the camera was out.

We are working on our fear of water in our eyes. It was a simple solution that we should have thought of sooner. Cooper calls them oggles. We are getting ready for the pool this summer.

He was helping Dad put the trim back on in the family room.

Dexter update

As you can tell it is a rough life for Dexter. He takes every moment he can to snuggle with us. He is the forgotten family member. This winter he has been moving a little slower. We can't believe he is going to be 8 years old.

Christmas Cards?

You might be wondering about our Christmas cards this year. We did get the photos taken in time but I didn't manage to get them ordered. I thought about New Years or Valentines but both holidays have passed. I am not sure where the time has gone. I have finally had time to update the blog. Enjoy!

Valentine's Day

Cooper was excited to see a package when he got home today. He opened it up and thought the packing peanuts were the surprise. He put the chocolate in a safe place and got busy playing with the new cars.

Silly faces

Cooper loves to see himself in a photo. My sweet little boy with a smile is hard to find. He loves to make faces and send them to Dad when he is working late. I can't believe how grown up he is.

Cooper sang this year!! He did really well. It turns out he had a high fever and was ready for bed by the end of it. He spent the rest of the week at home. I will have to post a couple of videos.
